Hamurana's Memorandum

My memorandum of today's world

Body buried if not claimed, start today.

72 hours after large scale disaster has been regarded as the golden opportunity to save victims. It is however passing way too quickly for those who are trying to save lives in Sichuan.

Till 6 o’clock 15th May, Command centre of Mianzhuan has confirmed 4250 dean, this is almost put it amongst the regions with the highest death-toll. To make things worse, 3 smaller regions within Mianzhu, Qingping, Tianchi and Jinhua have been lost contact for very long time. These towns situated deep in the mountains, tens of thousands of lives cannot be confirmed. There are only very few people can escape the quake by walking out, one of them told the journalist that large area of house and building have collapsed, countless number of people are dead.

A doctor from China Redcross of Bejing 999 has told journalist, 72 hours after disaster, the chance for survival drops significantly, can be as low as 1%, however, the chance for large scale pandemic increases sharply.
